The location was very central, magnificent away from the center of Wernigerode. And it was also next to a park, and the centre of the town and castle.

As a solo female traveler, I really enjoyed the Grand reception and breakfast room. The Continental style breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh rolls, fruit, meats, and cheeses. The location of the hotel was also convenient, being close to the Castle and only a 10-minute walk to the Town Centre. Although the hill down to town was quite steep, it was manageable for someone reasonably fit and healthy.
Felt cozy, nothing to complain about.

Our stay at the Hotel Erbprinzenpalais was like a home away from home, but way cooler! This place used to be owned by a freaking prince, guys! You could almost feel the royal vibes while chilling in the grand communal rooms. And let me tell you, the breakfast was on point. It was like a buffet fit for a king. Plus, the hotel is in the perfect location for us adventure-seeking teens. Skiing and hiking in the Harz mountains? Heck yeah!
The only thing that could've made this place even more epic for us young party animals would be a cool bar or a happening nightlife scene. We would have loved to have a place to gather with our friends in the hotel and have a little fun after a long day of exploring.

The breakfast served in the elegant dining room was delicious and plentiful. The staff, especially Alisa, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and excellent service.

Spacious Rooms: The rooms at this hotel were so roomy, I felt like I had my own mini apartment! They were well-equipped with modern amenities and the sound-insulated walls made for a peaceful night's sleep. I even had a private terrace with stunning garden views, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. It truly felt like a home away from home!
The configuration of the router seemed to be off, causing a lot of connectivity problems. Although the staff tried their best to assist, it took a few days for a helpful IT savvy staff member to finally solve the issue.
